World War 2 Air Raid History and Tour Experience

Ever wondered what's hidden under St Nicholas Market?

Most people visit St Nicks for the incredible street food, but right beneath your feet lies Bristol’s biggest public World War II air raid shelter. Completely frozen in time, this underground bunker was built to protect hundreds of locals during the devastating raids of the Bristol Blitz.

On this exclusive subterranean tour, you'll step behind the scenes of the historic Corn Exchange, descend into the dark, atmospheric tunnels, and hear the real-life stories of the people who sheltered here. It’s a fascinating, moving, and uniquely Bristolian experience.

🎟️ Tours run weekly | Departs from the Corn Exchange steps.
